Sidney A. Milkis is the White Burkett Miller Professor in the Department of Politics and a senior fellow at the Miller Center of Public Affairs at the University of Virginia, and, most recently, the co-author (with Nicholas Jacobs) of What Happened to the Vital Center?: Presidentialism, Populist Revolt, and the Fracturing of America (Oxford University Press).
